The recruiting dead period has arrived without Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn filling the vacancy left by former AU defensive coordinator Will Muschamp.  While not ideal, Malzahn will be able to stabilize recruiting in January if a solid defensive coordinator hire is made soon.
