Auburn looks to capitalize on Big Six Bowl momentum

While missing the college football playoff scene with a loss in the SEC Championship game, Gus Malzahn’s Auburn Tigers have the enviable position of playing in a New Year’s Day “Big Six” Bowl game against the only undefeated team in the country, UCF, in the Chik-Fil-A Peach Bowl. Malzahn’s staff has capitalized on the opportunity to get valuable work for the younger players who will be counted on to make the 2018 season special as the Tigers return 18 starters from the 2017 season.

Join cohosts Coach John Ray and Doug Dean as they break down where the Auburn program stands now, in contrast to a tumultuous SEC field which is marked by numerous head coaching changes.

Taking stock of a wild, rollercoaster 2017 Auburn season

Although every major Power Five conference football team sets their sights on a conference or national football championship in the preseason, once the dust settles, a 10+ win season and New Year’s Bowl berth is considered a success.

Join Coach John Ray and Doug Dean as they take stock of the season, and the future with a stable coaching staff, and recruiting season dead ahead.
