Auburn Football All-Access Podcast, Episode 112, June 27, 2016

When summer arrives in the deep south, the minds of all inhabitants move immediately to the imminent college football season, sweltering heat be damned.

Auburn head football coach Gus Malzahn enters the 2016 football season with a very upbeat vibe that probably starts with what most anticipate to be one of the deepest, most talented defenses Auburn has fielded in years.  But Malzahn also enters the season with equal question marks – at least among fans and pundits – as to whether he can diagnose and correct the problems which have caused the recently anemic offense by Malzahn standards.  As a result, it’s the “tale of two cities” for a coach who will have his back to the wall in 2016 with pressure to win on what some analysts consider the toughest schedule in Division I football, opening with the Fighting Dabo’s of Clemson on September 3rd in Jordan-Hare.

Join Coach John Ray and Doug Dean as they are back in the saddle for an early summer deep dive into the inner workings of the Auburn roster.  They also discuss breaking news on the recruiting front with the commitment of Kicker Anders Carlson and new Auburn signee and Baylor expatriate 4-star RB Kameron Martin, who will be eligible to play this Fall for the Tigers and could well prove to be a small missing link in the backfield.
